JIPMER MBBS Counselling
Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and
Research (JIPMER) has circulated a new notification for the declaration of
JIPMER
MBBS Counselling. As per info the counselling will be commenced from June. In the declared JIPMER Result, those, who are provisionally
shortlisted for JIPMER Counselling, must check details of counselling like
Schedule/ Venue/ Time. Dear students if you want to get admission into MBBS
programme at Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and
Research, please appear in JIPMER MBBS Counselling. Appliers will be
called for Counselling according to their ranks in the merit list to confirm
the certificates and their biometric information at its academic centre.
JIPMER MBBS Counselling is going to held separately for
general unreserved/OPH / OBC/SC/ST candidates by the authority. Candidates have
to bring all the needed documents along with them at the time of counselling. There are 200 MBBS seats, including 50 seats on the Karaikal
campus. The counselling of JIPMER MBBS will be organized in 03 rounds.
JIPMER MBBS counselling to be held only offline, so
candidate has to be physically present at the time of admission schedule. Total
592 Unreserved candidates have qualified for the JIPMER MBBS counselling. For

Important Dates - June to September
JIPMER MBBS Counselling Procedure: The procedure of JIPMER MBBS Counselling is
as follows:
JIPMER Counselling 18 Registrations: Deserving
students must report at the JIPMER MBBS counselling location on fix date and
time as mentioned in date chart. At the venue of JIPMER Counselling, all the
applicants will have to register themselves first.
Biometric Fingerprint and Image Verification:
- Dear participants if you have completed the process of registration go through Biometric Fingerprint and Image Verification. Applicants are suggested to verify their fingerprints and photo before the counselling of JIPMER MBBS starts.
- If any mismatch found in the biometric fingerprints or photo, then candidates will not able to appear in appear in counselling.
Certificate Verification:
The candidates have to verify the following certificate
along with one self-attested copy for JIPMER MBBS:
Following is the list of documents, which candidates have to
bring with themselves at the time of appearing in JIPMER MBBS Counselling:
- JIPMER MBBS admit card signed by the Invigilator present during the exam.
- JIPMER MBBS Rank Letter
- Birth Certificate or Class 10 certificate as a proof of date of birth.
- Class 12 or equivalent examination pass certificate
- Class 12 or equivalent examination statement of marks
- Character Certificate from the institute last attended.
- Residence Certificate issued by Revenue Authority, not below the rank of Tahsildar.
- Caste Certificate, issued by the revenue officer, not below the post of Tahsildar.
- Transfer Certificate from the Head of the Institution last attended.
- Residence Certificate / Employer Certificate for residents of Puducherry.
- Medical Certificate, for PwD candidates.
- Six recent passport size colour photographs.
JIPMER MBBS Seat Allotment:
Students will be called for seat allotment after
successfully complete the verification rounds. For the allotment of seats,
candidates will be called as according to their rank. If the seat is vacant in
the preferred course and campus, the seat will be allocated to the candidates. However,
the candidates might have to settle for lesser prioritized seat if there is no
vacancy.
