KCET Exam Pattern:

KCET Papers
Division: For KCET Exam there will be two exam different dates. Paper 1
will be of Mathematics and Biology whereas paper 2 will be of Physics and
Chemistry.
Mode of Exam:
KCET Exam will be conducted via offline mode only which is paper pen based
examination.
Duration:
For each paper 1:20 hours will be given to complete all the questions in KCET which candidates have to manage 40 minutes for each subject in the
examination of Karnataka CET.
Language:
The question paper of Karnataka Common Entrance Test will be held in English or
Kannada language only and candidates are required to attempt the paper in the
same.
Questions Type:
All the questions in the examination will be objective types that are multiple
choice questions (MCQs).
Total Questions:
There will total 180 questions, 60 from each (Physics, Chemistry and
Mathematics)
Marking Scheme:
For every correct answer made by the aspirant 1 mark will be added in score of
KCET.
Negative Marking:
There is no negative marking for any incorrect answer.
