declared news to open the lines for filling up of CUSAT Application Form
to
appear for Common Admission Test (CAT), Lateral Entry Test (LET), Department
Admission Test (DAT), Group Discussion and Interview rounds for admission to
various programmes. To become eligible for getting admission in CUSAT, deserving

B.Tech Marine Engineering
|
Pass in 10+2 examination of the state of Kerala or an equivalent
examination with PCM and English and securing at least 60% aggregate marks in
PCM and 50% marks individually in Mathematics.
Should have passed English at 10th and 12th standard with 50% marks.
Vocational/diploma candidates are not eligible to apply.
Candidate’s age should not be more than 25 years as on 1st September.

B.Tech/5-year Integrated M.Sc in Photonics
|
Pass 12th examination from the Kerala state or equivalent examination
with PCM.
Minimum 50% marks are required in Mathematics individually and 50%
marks in PCM putting together.

LL.B.
|
Graduation in any discipline from a University recognized from CUSAT
by securing 40% aggregate marks (35% for SC/ST).
Appearing candidates may also apply.

LL.M.
|
Bachelor’s degree in law with minimum 45% marks.

Plus two examinations should be passed with 60% marks (for science
group) and 55% marks (for Arts/Commerce/Humanities group).

the subjects or graduate in Electronics/Information Technology
/Computer Science /Computer Applications/ Engineering/Technology with

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (in any branch) with 60% marks in
MBA or B.Voc degree in relevant discipline with at least 60% marks.

Application Fee: Applying applicants are
required to pay CUSAT application fee at the time of filling
application form. Details of fee is described below, you can go through it and
pay the requisite amount of fee. Payment of fee can be done through SBI or SBT
Challan or through credit card/debit card/Net banking.

CUSAT Admission
Process: Admission of candidates
in Cochin University of Science and Technology will be done on the basis of
merit list of written test further qualified candidates in exam will be called
for further selection process that is group discussion, interview or counselling.
Admission to MBA course in CUSAT will be done through CAT
which is conducted by IIMs/MAT or CMAT while admission into M.Tech course is
done through GATE scores. DAT for M.Tech will be conducted only if sufficient
GATE qualified candidates are not available. 5% relaxation in the qualifying
marks will be provided to the GATE qualified candidates.
CUSAT Exam Pattern: CUSAT Common Admission
Test will be conducted in online mode that is computer based test. The question
paper will contain objective type questions. Each course has different number
of questions. Each course will include different subjects. Total time allotted
to complete the exam is 3 hours. 3 marks will be awarded for each correct
answer and 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect response.
