Specialist officer exam is conducted into 2 papers
except for the post of economist. In 1st paper questions related to Reasoning ability,
English language and quantitative aptitude sections are being asked and it will
be last long for 90 minutes. In 2nd paper questions from professional knowledge
section is being asked and the test will runs for 45 minutes.
The exam for the post of economist includes one more
section i.e. essay language test. In this paper, an aspirant has to write essay

Specialist Officer Exam- Marking Scheme:
The
test will be a computer based test which conducted through online mode. In
paper 1, each question will contain 1 mark which means for every correct answer
candidates will get 1 mark and for every incorrect answer 0.25 marks will be
deducted. There is only one section i.e. professional knowledge which includes
50 questions for a total of 100 marks. Individuals have to score minimum marks
to crack both the papers. The 3rd paper which is essay writing is going to
be of 50 marks.
