Sainik School
Rewari Reservation:
- 15% and 7 ½ % seats are reserved for SC & ST candidates respectively.
- Out of the remaining, 67 % of the seats will be reserved for home state.
- Balance 33% left over seats will be thrown open to boys from other states and UT in ration of their male population.
- 25% seats are also reserved for the boys of service personal including ex-servicemen.
Eligibility
Criteria for VI & IX Classes: Student should have to qualify the
previous class examination from a recognized board/ Institutions. Appearing
Students can also apply. The students who have qualified the written test will
be eligible for further selection process.
Age Limit:
All the candidates are advised to know that Sainik School Rewari Admission is
offered to boys only (no provision for girls) in class VI & IX. Those
candidates who born between 02-07-2007 and 01-07-2008 (both days inclusive) are
eligible to get admission to class VI and those boys who born between
02-07-2004 and 01-07-2008 (both days inclusive) are only eligible to apply for
admission to class IX.
Application Fee:
- 400/- for General Category by Cash and Rs. 450/- by Post
- 400/- for Defence Category by Cash and Rs. 450/- by Post
- 250/- for SC/ST Category by Cash and Rs. 300/- by Post
Admission
Prospectus Fee Online: Al the applying candidates for can get the
Prospectus Cum Application Form from the Official website or School Counter.
- For General/Defence Category Aspirants: Rs.400/-
- For ST/SC Category Aspirants: Rs.250/- Only
Selection Process:
Depending on the number of vacancies available from time to time, candidates in
merit list will be required to appear before a Selection Board for an interview
and before a Medical Board for medical examination.
- Interview will carry 50 marks which will be added to marks obtained in written test.
- Final merit list will be drawn on basis of combined score and candidates will be admitted strictly according to order in final merit list.

- On the home page enter on “All India Sainik School Entrance Exams” link
- Read notification and download the application form
- Fill the necessary details in the form
- Now upload the required documents and hit the submit button.
- In the end you must take a printout of it for future use.
Offline Method to Apply:
- To receive offline prospectus candidates should send a demand draft in favor of The Principal, Sainik School Rewari.
- Fill Application Form in prescribed manner.
- Attach the required Xerox copy of the academic documents according to the requirement.
- You must verify once the application form.
