a recognized University. (OR) Second class M.Sc in Life Sciences+ Ph.D degree
in Life Sciences from a recognized University.
Scientist B (Non-Medical) Social Sciences: First
class Master's degree in Social Sciences/ Anthropology/ Psychology from a
recognized University. (OR) Second class M.Sc in above mentioned subjects +
Ph.D degree in relevant subject from a recognized University.
Scientist C (Non-Medical) Reproductive Biology: First
class Master's degree in Life Sciences from a recognized University with 4
years R&D/ teaching experience in the relevant subject after 1stclass
Master's Degree. (OR) Second class M.Sc in Life Sciences+ Ph.D degree in Life
Sciences from a recognized University with 4 years R&D/ teaching experience
in the relvant subject after M.Sc. + Ph.D.
Scientist C Veterinary Sciences: M.V.Sc degree
recognized by VCI with 4 years experience in laboratory animal facility.
Scientist D (Medical) Obstetrics & Gynecology/
Preventive & Social Medicine/ Pediatrics: Post graduate degree
(MD/MS/DNB) in Obstetrics & Gynecology/ Pediatrics with five years R&D/
teaching experience or post graduate diploma in related medical subjects with
six years of R & D/ teaching experience in the related subject after MBBS
degree from recognized university. (OR) MBBS degree recognized by MCI or
equivalent degree from recognized University with Eight years R&D
experience in the field of Obstetrics & Gynecology /Preventive & Social
Medicine / Pediatrics from recognized Institute(s) after obtaining essential
qualification. Out of above 2 years in a managerial position to handle R&D
projects in a team effectively in a directing capacity.

Fee: Candidates need to pay
fee as Demand Draft (DD) / Indian Postal Order (IPO) for Rs. 500/- drawn in
favour of "Director, NIRRH, Mumbai". SC/ ST/Persons with Disabilities
and women candidates are exempted from the payment of application fees.
Application fees is payable by all other candidates including ICMR employees.
Selection
Procedure: Selection of the participants will
be based on the performance in Written Examination and Personal Discussion/
Interview for the post of Scientist B and C; Personal Discussion/ Interview for
the post of Scientist D.
