Academic
Qualification: Candidates must have Master’s Degree in concerned stream
with a minimum of 60% marks or CGPA 6.5 on a scale of 10, or equivalent (55% or
CGPA 6/10 for SC/ST candidates). The qualifying degree should have been
obtained within 5 years.
Crucial Points
- Normal relaxation to the eligibility criteria will be applicable as per Government of India guidelines.
- Candidates who meet the minimum eligibility criteria for obtaining INSPIRE PhD fellowship as per the DST guidelines can also apply.
- In the event of short listing, and successful clearing of interview, the candidate shall be provisionally admitted for the PhD program.
- Admission shall be cancelled, if the candidate is unable to provide evidence for INSPIRE PhD fellowship at the time of registration.
Application Fee:
Students should need to pay Rs. 200/- (For Gen) and Rs. 100/- (for others) as
application fee that is paid through the Powerjyoti Account.
Admission Process of
IISER TVM: Students’ admission in PhD courses will be based on their
appearance in interview session. An interview will be held at IISER-TVM and no
TA/DA will be paid for attending interview session.

- Enter now on “Apply Online” link to fill an online application form.
- Must fill application form very carefully and must attach all mandatory particulars and upload relevant documents as listed below.
- There after hit on “Submit” button to record entire details and get print out of filled application form and keep is safe for future reference.
