Academic
Records & Age Limit: Candidates must Check this-
For Indian Economic Service: A candidate for the
Indian Economic Service must have obtained a Post-Graduate Degree in
Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics/Econometrics from a University
incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India.
For Indian Statistical Service: A candidate for the
Indian Statistical Service must have obtained a Bachelor's Degree with
Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics as one of the subject or
a Master's degree in Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics from
a University incorporated by an Act of the Central.
Physical standards: Aspirants
are required to be physically fit according to the physical standard for
admission to Indian Economic Service/Indian Statistical Service Examination.
Age Limit: Age of
candidates should not be less than 21 years and not more than 30 years on 1st
August of the year of Indian Economic Service Exam.
Relaxation in age
will be given as:
- 5 years age relaxation to the candidates related to SC/ST Category
- 3 years relaxation for the candidates belonging to OBC category
- 5 years relaxation to the candidates, who have been domiciled in the State of Jammu and Kashmir during the period from the 1st January, 1980
- 3 years relaxation to the candidates of Defence Services Personnel disabled in operations during hostilities with any foreign country
- 5 years for ex-servicemen and ECOs/SSCOs
- 10 years in the case of blind, deaf-mute and orthopedically disabled persons.
Application Fee: Candidates
are required to pay an amount of Rs.200/- in concern to the application fees.
Female/SC/ST/PH candidates are exempted from payment of fee.
Mode to submit the amount: Candidates need to pay the
fee either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using
net banking facility of SBI, State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/State Bank of
Hyderabad /State Bank of Mysore/ State Bank of Patiala/ State Bank of
Travancore or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card.
