Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu is all set to release CUCET Notification for
those candidates who desire to get admission into UG / Integrated Programs, PG
/ B.Ed. / PG Diploma and M.Phil / Ph. D Programs in this session. So,
candidates who are interested and qualified enough for the examination must
apply for the CUCET examination. Candidates who are eligible for the
examination can apply for the exam.

post carefully. Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) is a national
level entrance test that is organized jointly by the eight central
universities together. A number of Eight universities are:
Central University of Haryana, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Jammu, Kerala, Punjab,
Kashmir, Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu. This test is conducted for admission into
the UG/Integrated Programme, PG Programme and Research
Programme in various educational and professional field respectively in
these eight Central Universities.

Exam Pattern
- Papers: Question paper will comprises of PART A and PART B.
- of Questions: The question paper will be consisted of 100 MCQs (multiple choice questions).
- PART A will be consisted of 25 questions.
- PART B will be contained 75 MCQs questions and consisted of five sections.
- Each section will have 25 questions.
- There is a provision that a candidate will require to answer a set of any three sections (75 questions).
- For Integrated Courses/MBA/MCA/LLB/LLM or any other general course(s), only one paper will be conducted which will contain 100 objective types questions.
- Language: The language of the question paper will be in English.
- Duration: The duration of each paper will be two hours.
- Negative Marking: There will be NO negative marking.
CUCET Syllabus
Syllabus for UGO 1
- This paper will contain of two parts: PART A and PART B.
- PART A comprises of Language, general awareness, mathematical aptitude and analytical skills topics.
- PART B consists of topics of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Syllabus for UGO 2
Syllabus will comprises various topics of the following
disciplines: English, Numerical Aptitude/Data Interpretation, Analytical
Skills, Reasoning, General Aptitude, and General Knowledge.
Syllabus for M.Phil/ Ph.D Research Programme:
Syllabus of M.Phil and/or Ph.D Research Programme will be
comprise as that prescribed for the UGC-CSIR/others NET-JRF Exam.
CUCET Admit Card
- Candidates can get their admit card from the official website which is going to be released on the third week of May (tentative).
- Before going to appear for exam candidates must have hall ticket with them as it consists of personal details such as candidate name, roll number and exam venue, date etc.

Procedure
Admission Procedure for M.Phil and Ph.D Programme:
- Admission process includes the written test and interview that will carry weightage of 60% and 40% respectively.
- Candidates, those qualify NET/JRF/SLET/Teacher Fellowship will be exempted from the written test.
- In this case, the interview will carry 100% weightage.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview.
Note: Students who wish to take admission in
M.Phil Programmes and appear in CUCET will not be considered in ‘Exemption
Category’ and in such case, interview will have the weightage of 40 marks.

How to Fill CUCET
Application Form
- Application form will be available on official site from the first week of April (tentative).
- Candidates can pay the fee through online or offline mode.
- On the home page select proper link to apply and fill form very carefully with all important details
- After the submission of the online application form with online payment an automated e-mail and SMS will be sent to the candidate maid ID & mobile number.
- Candidates can apply for a particular course for a maximum of the three PUs (Participating Universities) with a maximum of three options of programmes in each of the selected PU.
- At the end , take printout of filled application form and keep it safe for future need.
