Dear candidates Joint Engineering Examination Polytechnic (JEEP) is the
state level polytechnic entrance examination which is organized by Uttarakhand
Board of Technical Education Roorkee (UBTER). The reason to conduct JEEP exam
is to ask students of Uttarakhand for admission to various government and
private polytechnic institutes located in Uttarakhand in the polytechnic
courses like engineering, fashion designing, hotel management, pharmacy, and
others
Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education Roorkee (UBTER) will
be held UBTER Counselling for
the candidates who are going to appear in JEEP. Ambitious and good
academic having candidates may apply for counselling after qualify in this test.
Students, who are willing to get admission
in first year programmes available here, must attend Counselling according to schedule. Dear aspirants we advise to
all of you that select only ranked institutes and colleges for further studies.

Uttarakhand Polytechnic Counselling Schedule
Seat Allotment: The
allotment of seats to the candidates would be done on the basis of merit and
marks obtained in entrance exam. Those aspirants who will be qualified in the
exam will be called for the counselling.
Counselling Process: All
awaited candidates follow instructions mentioned steps to get further details:
- UBTER counselling may be the month of July for such candidates who passed JEEP.
- Once NATA first Admit List comes out, eligible candidates would be called where they have to fill in their Choice for courses as well as for institutes
- Thereafter, the institute will announce counselling schedule on the basis of merit.
- Allotment of seats would be done based on merit position/ rank of candidates, those having higher ranks will be deemed first for allowance of seats as per their choices
- Aspirants are required to reach the counselling venue to attend the seat allotment process.
- They will be asked to submit the required documents and counselling fee.
- After this Candidates will be allotted colleges / course as per the availability of seats.
- Finally, they will be given joining letter which they have to carry while going for admission in the college.
Certificate
Verification: Applicants must bring the following documents and
certificates at the time of counseling for verification the list of documents
as mentioned below:
- Original and Xerox copies of Academic Certificate like 10th/12th
- Counseling Hall Ticket
- Residence Proof
- Identity Proof
- Online Registration Receipt
- Caste Certificate (for reserved category applicants) etc.
Documents Required:
- Original counseling letter
- Original UBTER JEEP Admit card
- All the original and photocopies of certificates of 10th & 12th class mark sheets
- 4-6 Passport size photographs color and black and white
- Rank Card / Hall Ticket
- Score card (if applicable)
- Original degree/provisional certificate if candidate is appearing
- Community certificate (SC / ST / OBC /Other) signed by the authorized authority
Unforgettable Dates:
- Date of Examination: May
- Announcement of result: Last week of May
- Date of Counselling: In the month of July
Way to apply for Counselling Date Information:
- Applicants should visit the official website of Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education Roorkee (UBTER) that is www.ubter.in.
- Now select the ‘JEEP’ link.
- Press ok on ‘Information Boucher’ option
- This is the place where dates info is available
- Now enter all required details i.e. Candidates roll number, marks etc.
- Check it and submit counselling registration form.
- Get hard copy of it to show at the time of asking.
