issued an advertisement to invite Sikkim TET Application Form for Online
Registration of the capable candidates for appearing in exam. Such participants, who are educated for

Sikkim Teacher Eligibility Test (Sikkim TET) is commenced by
Human Resource Development Department Government of Sikkim (HRDD) for the
selection of passionate and skilled candidates for Primary Teacher of Classes I
to V and for Elementary (Graduate) Teacher for Classes VI to VIII. At present TET
is a compulsory examination in all over the country for all the B.Ed. degree
holder appliers to be considered for Government teacher jobs in schools set up by

Eligibility
Criteria
Academic
Qualification: Students must have one of the below given qualification, so
please have a glance downwards-
Senior Secondary: Candidates must have Senior
Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks Minimum educational
Qualification passed in final year of 4 years Bachelors of Elementary Education
(B. Ed)/ Diploma.
Primary Teacher:
- Candidates should be passed in final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education with B.A. / B.Sc. / with 50 % marks with 1/ 2 year Bachelor in Education B. Ed.
- A person who intends to appear in both the categories (Primary and Graduate) will have to apply and sit in both the papers separately.
- Applicants must have Diploma/Degree course in teacher education recognized by National Council for Teacher Education. In case of Diploma in Education (Special Education) and B. Ed. (Special Education), a course recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) only shall be considered.
Age Limitation:
Candidates age should not below 18 years, as per the requirement of Sikkim
Government. The relaxation in age will be provided to the candidates as per the
rules and regulations of the state government of Sikkim.
Selection Process:
Candidates will be appointed on the basis of their performance in examination
and further rounds which will be conducted by the organization. Selected
aspirants will be assigned on the Teacher posts as a government employee. The
recruitment process will be totally based on the eligibility of the candidates.
STET Exam Pattern:
- STET will consist of 150 Objective type questions
- There will be no negative marking.
- The candidates are required to record their answer on OMR Sheet
- Duration of examination – one-and-a-half hours.

Teacher Eligibility Test Application Form:
- First of all participants will have to visit the official website of the Sikkim that is www.sikkimhrdd.org.
- Now go through “Circular & Notification” which is at the bottom on the home page.
- Then you need to go with “NOTICE FOR SIKKIM TEACHER ELIGIBILITY TEST- February” link available this section.
- Candidates are advised to read the complete advertisement in a suitable way.
- After that, download the Sikkim TET Application Form and fill asked details in the format of the form.
- Attach all below given relevant documents along with the form.
- Enclose the form in envelope and super scribed with the name of the post.
- Send the complete form to the correct postal address on scheduled date.
