Celebration: According to Hindu Mythology this festival generally falls
between the middle of October or November, yet this is decided by the Hindu
lunar calendar. The main reason to celebrate Diwali is that on this day Lord
Rama and his wife Sita were returned to their empire in northern India from
exile after defeat the demon king Ravanna thousands years ago. It was the long
time duration spend by Rama with his spouse Sita and brother Laxman. When
people of Ayodhya (In Uttar Pradesh) saw their King has come back after 14
years of harsh life in forest then enlighted earthern lamps in entire dynasty
and till then since now is it celebrated same.
