I. The candidates will be subjected to a Literacy Test of the level of
8th Class covering the following subjects/topics.
- One paper consisting of Part-A (Arithmetic) and Part –B (Kannada writing)
- Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) and Objective – of 01 Mark each
- Duration of Written Test will be 90 Minutes
- Part C-Kannada Reading Test-on completion of written test till the test is completed for all the candidates.

III. Total marks for Literacy Test-100
Qualifying Marks: Minimum 40%
marks for UR, 37% marks for OBC and 33% marks for SC/ST candidates in aggregate

IV. The Max/ Min marks in respect of Driving Test (Trade Test) are
fixed as follows:
- Total Marks for Driving Test: 60
- Minimum Qualifying Marks: UR-24, OBC-22 and SC/ST-20
