Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET)

State Eligibility Test (KSET). Recently an updated notification is brought up
by Examination Board to set up KSET Exam for those aspirants who are willing to

Academic Record:
Participants should possess-
- At least 55% of marks for general category and 50% for SC, ST, PWD, Category I, IIA, IIB, IIIA and IIIB, in Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination from universities / institutions recognized by UGC New Delhi, in the subjects opted for KSET.
- Candidates who have appeared OR will be appearing at the qualifying Master’s Degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited OR candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also appear for this Test.
- Candidate who became eligible in Previous KSET TESTs are not eligible to apply again in the same subject.
Age Criteria: There
is no age limit to apply for KSET examination.

Late fee of Rs.150/- has to be paid by candidates who online
application after the last date till the extended period.
Note: Candidates
belonging to category SC, ST, CAT-I, IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB, PWD who claim fee
exemption must enclose attested copy of Category certificate issued by
competent authority along with the hard copy of the application.
Selection
Procedure: Applicants will be selected based on the performance in the
written examination.
Session of KSET
Paper:
- Karnataka State Eligibility Test will be consisting of three papers.
- The test for all the three papers will consist of only Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs).
- Paper-I: General Paper is on Teaching and Aptitude
- Paper-II: Subject Paper
- Paper-III: Subject paper (in depth questions)

How to Apply for KSET
Exam: Hey appliers check all the points then proceed to fill the form-
- First of all candidates will have to go through official website of the organization that is kset.uni-mysore.ac.in
- On home page select “Notification” tab that is available in menu bar.
- In this step select “Notification of KSET” tab.
- Read details carefully and eligible candidates must enter on “Apply Online”.
- Enter your registered email address and password and then press on login tab.
- If you are new user then, first you need to register yourself for KSET.
- After registration fill your personal, education and other details in application form.
- Upload all required documents and scanned image of photograph and signature with application form.
- At last, recheck the details and make the payment of examination fee.
- Now submit the application form and take the hard copy of it for future use.
Documents Required: Following are the
documents that are to be enclosed and to be sent with the application form.
- The candidates should send the following documents with printout of their online application form in separate A4 size papers.
- Application Form (one copy),
- Attendance Slip (one copy).
- Xerox copy of Bank Challan.
- Copies of SC, ST, PWD, Cat-1, IIA, IIB, IIIA and IIIB certificates duly attested by the Gazetted Officer.
- Attested copy of SSLC Marks card is a must for verification of candidate name and parent’s name. In case there is a change of name at the later stage, enclose an attested copy of the authenticated document.
- Attested copy of Final year PG Degree marks card and PG degree certificates.
