Eligibility for the Maharashtra Police Constable
Age -Relaxation will
be provided to the candidates belonging to the reserved categories. The age of
the candidates should be as follows:-
- Male: the candidate should be of minimum 18 years and not more than 25 years.
- Female: the female candidates should be of minimum 18 years and not more than 25 years.
- The candidates of reserved categories will be provided relaxation up to 30 years in upper age limit.
Education Qualification – The
candidates who are interested must have passed 10th/12th class from any recognized board. The
candidates who will have such educational qualification will only be eligible
for the vacancy.
Physical
qualification –
- Height limitation (male) – the height of the male candidate should be 165 cms.
- Height limitation (female) – the height of the female candidate should be 155 cms.
- Chest (male) – the chest of the male candidate should be 79 – 84 cms.
Eligibility for
the Maharashtra Police Head Constable:
Age – The age of
the candidates should be as follows :
- Male: The male candidate should be of minimum 18 years and it should not exceed more than 25 years. Relaxation will be provided up to the age of 30 years to the reserved category candidates.
- Female: The female candidate should be of minimum 18 years and it should not exceed more than 25 years. Relaxation will be provided up to the age of 30 years to the reserved category candidates.
Education
qualification – The candidates must have an educational qualification of merit
class (1oth) / 12th class for the post of
head constable.The candidates who will have such educational qualification will
only be eligible for the post of head constable.
Physical
qualification –
- Height limitation (male ) – the male candidate should have height of about 165 cms.
- Height limitation ( female ) – the female candidate should have height of about 161 cms.

Education
qualification – the candidate must be graduated from a recognized university
with the English , Hindi and Marathi language necessarily. He should have the
degree of LLB from recognized university.
Eligibility for
the Maharashtra Police Home Guard:
Age – the
age limit of the candidate should be :
- Male – the age of the candidate for the post of home guard should be minimum 18 years an maximum 35 years.
- Female – the age of the female candidate should be minimum 18 years an maximum 35 years.
