Selection Process: Selection of applied candidates for IBPS

Interview: Candidates
who have been shortlisted in the Main examination for CRP SPL-VII will
subsequently be called for an Interview to be conducted by the Participating
Organizations and coordinated by the Nodal Banks in each State/ UT with the
help of IBPS. Interviews will be conducted at select centres. The centre,
address of the venue, time & date of Interview will be informed to the
shortlisted candidates in the call letter.
List of Documents
to show at the time of interview:
- Printout of the valid Interview Call Letter
- Valid system generated printout of the online application form registered for CWE SPL-VII
- Proof of Date of Birth (Birth Certificate issued by the Competent Municipal Authorities or SSLC/ Std. X Certificate with DOB)
- Photo Identify Proof as indicated in Point F of the advertisement below
- Marksheets & certificates for educational qualifications. Proper document from Board / University for having declared the result on or before last date has to be submitted.
- Caste Certificate issued by the competent authority in the prescribed format as stipulated by Government of India in case of the SC / ST / OBC category candidates.
- Disability certificate in the prescribed format issued by the District Medical Board in case of Persons with Benchmark Disability category.
- An Ex-serviceman candidate has to produce a copy of the Service or Discharge book
- Candidates serving in Government / quasi govt offices/ Public Sector Undertakings (including Nationalized Banks and Financial Institutions) are required to produce a “No Objection Certificate” from
- Persons eligible for age relaxation under B IV (5) must produce the domicile certificate at the time of interview
- Persons eligible for age relaxation under B IV (6) must produce a certificate from the District Magistrate to the effect that they are eligible
- Persons falling in categories (ii), (iii), (iv) and (v) of Point B (I) should produce a certificate of eligibility issued by the Govt. Of India
- Any other relevant documents in support of eligibility

Tips to optimize section-wise performance: There are three sections and irrespective of your strengths

Reasoning Section Tips:
- If you are good at reasoning, you can allocate 20 to 25 minutes for it -- 35 seconds per question to attempt all the questions.
- Focus on your accuracy, as there is negative marking and you will be wasting time if you don't prioritize the right questions.
- If reasoning is not one of your strengths, reserve it for the end and allocate no more than 15 minutes to it.
- Your main focus should be to clear the cut off.
Verbal/ English Section Tips:
- If you are good with English communication, you will be able to complete this section in 10 to 15 minutes.
- Start IBPS PO exam with this section only.
- An attempt of 18 questions with good accuracy is enough to clear the cut off.
- This section should not require more than 15 minutes.
Quantitative Aptitude Section Tips:
- If Quantitative is not friendly with you then attempt it after the Verbal section or in the end and allocate around 20 minutes for it.
- Your aim should be to clear the cut off.
- Some topics which fall in this category are Simplification, Problems on Ages, Percentage, Average, Simple Interest, Profit and Loss, TSD, Ratio & Proportions etc
Data Interpretation:
- Use approximation as much as possible, especially if options are not close.
- Do as more mental calculations then using pen and paper.
- Round off the numbers wherever possible.
- Avoid doing long calculations.
